Default 4" Sound Performance boost activated cutout

Well, I always wanted a Sound Performance boost activated cutout. I posted that I got one a couple weeks ago, and said I would start a thread when I got it installed. I am the type of guy that cant keep anything stock. They actually made a prototype version that did not come with the 3 bolt flange, and that is what I really wanted. After debating it back and forth, I just decided to cut this one apart. I fired up the plasma cutter, cut apart the flange, welded the holes shut, and installed V band clamps. Im really glad I did this as I ended up changing the clock position of it after gettjng everything all welded up. Here are some pics of the progress during the modification. I used it today for the first time. Another member informed me that it would begin to open at 5 PSI and be fully opened at 11 PSI. It worked exactly like that. It seems about perfect for my driving style. At WOT it is a blast. It makes a lot more power blowing the tires off, and it sounds awesome. So far I love it.

Thanks for the compliments. Give me a little bit and I will get a video. I might take off the downspout, and get a video of it in action. I will try to do it in the next couple days, if not it will have to be next week.

The cutout is not adjustable. I believe you can order whatever pressure you want when purchasing one though.
