I'd expect a thud instead, but nope.

The truck sounds great at idle, and sounds extreme at WOT, it's actually kind of fun. I'm surprised that I've never been pulled over for how loud it is. But the droan must go. I don't expect it to be quiet.
Surprised also. My old 97 Silverado had true duals with some resonator tips (back in high school days) and was quieter than your truck by a lot and I got pulled over every weekend for it. Always warnings but I knew a ticket was coming soon.

Roger you need to buy a GoPro. As much as you take videos you would get plenty of use out of it. If you want to steal mine when I get home next you are welcome to it.

I just do not see a strait through muffler being as quiet as a chambered style one..

Do you have one installed on your truck? If so, post a pic. I remember when the auto manufacturers were using them years ago, and they also used to weld on huge weights too. Come to think of it, the new GMT900 air intake tubes have one on them too.

I don't have a picture, it was chopped off when I put the turbo under the bed. I will do the writeup though. Its the same concept as the intake resonators.

I'm not looking for quiet. I'm looking to lessen the droan. I'm not even so wishful as to think that it's even possible to eliminate the droan, but I truly believe it can be lessened.

The vids really don't do it any justice. They actually make it seem like I'm complaining about an exhaust that's just a little bit rowdy. It really is unbearable if you have to ride for more than 30 minutes.

Maybe my vids are just fine, and your laptop speakers are clogged with Jurgens.

Good/cheap alternative to try is the factory 4" resonator on Dodge Diesels(mega cabs), its just over the axle behind the factory muffler.

I got one laying around from my old truck, but im going to give the bullet I already have too a shot first, doing Pacesetter LTs/Y-pipe into 4" back with the bullet first. If its just way too loud ill toss on the mega cab resonator...
