I recorded 3 vids on my way to work this morning. The first one I shot with my Sony point-and-shoot camera, and the microphone isn't very good it seems. It doesn't really capture the droaning for some reason. The 2nd & 3rd vids I took with my phone.

If you take the time to check these out, turn up your speakers, it's about 80 db in the cab at cruise speed, and well over 110 db when I'm "on the converter" accelerating. It's a pretty good representation of "every day" driving in my truck, along with some nice Alaskan fall scenery.

Yes, I'm old. The camera doesn't really capture the problem like I'd hoped.

No, 110 db at part throttle, around 3000 rpm. WOT is a whole different animal.

Here's me going WOT at highway speed.

Send me your camera, so I can record my truck with it. Then it'll be apples to apples.

Anyways, what muffler are you running? Yes, it's loud(who cares) but does it droan on the highway?

Lol.. It was the muffler that was in the kit that edelbrock was selling for like 100 bucks because of over stock.. As far as drone, not so horrible while driving 70 mph. But as soon as your foot is in it it gets loud.. You think my FPR could be causing the loudness??

Ive got a 4" magnaflow that is only around 7"od and prob 15" long. Ive got the tailpipe run all the way out the back, and there is absolutely no drone at any cruising speed. When you get on it, it gets loud pretty quick though. I am sure the turbo helps to muffle things in relation to your lt's though. IMO, i think something similar to what smokeshow has would satisfy you.
