Default 4" cut out is huge!!

that is a 3" cut out next to a 4" cut out. the actual opening is 2.25" for the smaller one and 3.5" for the big one.

it would be nice if the 3" cut out was 3", i will be adapting this to my exhaust pipe so that it is a perfect shot down out of the down pipe and thru the cut out. might get that done tonight and i will post up some more pic's.

Wow, that opening along with a really straight shot out of the downpipe should flow pretty well. Do you still have the 3' downpipe, or did you do a bigger one?

i still have the 3" downpipe but that 2.25" cut out was probably not as good as it could be. it wasn't a real strait shot either so this should be much better. can't wait to try it.

i think i will keep the 3" i might use it for an open waste gate at some point.

Haa! That little one looks like it may have been warmed up a bit. I wonder how that could have happened.

I've never seen a 4" electric before. That's huge. Is this from Quicktime?

I'm impresses that the 3" cutout held up. That speaks well for that product. I can only imagine the heat and pressure being forced out of that pipe.

Not to hijack your thread, but whats the status on your trans? Did you ever figure out why that converter got so hot? I have noticed my '80e runs way hotter than the '60 did.
