What RPM does it peak at? How tall of a tire are you running?

I bet that it could benefit from more gear, 4.8s like to rev.

I don't remember what it peaked at but right now I'm shifting at 6500 on a 29.5in tire. It's still pulling good at 6500.

It nearly dead hooks at the track cause they prep it good! It kind of feels like it bogs when it hooks so I'm almost determined it's just the lack of torque being a 4.8..

If its dead hooking it should be cutting better than a 2.0 60'. What RPM are you leaving at?

Brake stalling to about 2000 then letting it flash

When you say that it feels like it's bogging, does the converter flash and then the RPMs drag down. Or does it bog down from 2000 and then flash the converter?

Can you footbrake it any higher? If you're truly bogging from traction, I'd progressively leave higher and higher until you start spinning then come down just enough to stay in the "sweet spot."

I haven't tried foot braking much higher than that at the track. But it'll flash to 3600 then hang there for a second till the rpm's start climbing. That may be normal but I figured surely it would be faster out of the hole! I've read some posts guys claiming 2.1 60s on stock converters.

I think the most important question here is your budget....
