why so hard to believe??
on the fastest truck list here graygmc ran a 13.32,on his mod list it doesnt show gears or a converter,so im assuming he's running a 3.42 gear and stock converter.reallyslowtruck ran a 13.98,he has a converter but his shows 3.42 gear and his is an extra cab.i would say its posibble.he list 4.10 gear, eaton posi and converter...that with the other mods seems that it would be possible.

I saying <img border="0" alt="[bullshit]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bs.gif" /> to that time on what he listed he had done. Now if he has a built 6.0 that is a different story. I dont think a 4.8 with just bolt ons is going to run that. look at oxidizer's list and his times and oxipad has alot more done to his 5.3. spraying out of the hole wont even do that for ya i wouldnt think

i'm not saying it can't be done, it most surely can. i'm just skeptical about ANYTHING that is on dragtruk.com. i would guess about 1/2 of the times on that site aren't real

That setup puts 5.3s in high 13 / low 14 range on good tires. 4.8s suck compared to 5.3s

just out of curiosity which one do you own?

i was talking about the gains from added displacement in an ls1 compared to a 5.3L as an example.

i think i'll just leave it at that though
