It will take a 200 shot about 28 1/8th mile runs.I pilled it to a 225 and burned 4 plugs all of the rear cylinders.
Have to pull the heads tomorrow...I want to beat this motor till the thing starts knocking.
I just rolled 50k miles on it today.
Its easy on the mind when you have a 6.0 waiting to go in it.

I have a 4.8 with a dead #7 cylinder. You can have it fo free if you pay to ship it. It'll give me an excuse to put in the 408.
I think it'll be a fun ride. I think you should get some LS1 heads and mill them to up the compression a bit. You'd be surprised at how well a 4.8 with a too big cam will do with drivability when it's a stick. I don't see why it wouldn't run a solid 12 N/A. I think an 11 might be a bit optimistic, but if you're not affraid to spin the **** out of it, then it might be possible. 11's on juice for sure though.

i like the sound of a destroked 6.0..dont really know on how youd get by with the right length of rods and pin heighth....with a 4.8..you might have the heads milled and take an air grinder to the intake and exhaust ports..or some milled ls6 heads..since you dont care about blowin it up do a 2 stage nitrous kit..100 off the line and 150 in second..should be wicked id think
