I am looking at putting a Cam in my 4.8. I was wondering if the cams that people are running in the 5.3's would work in the same motor as mine? I know the stroke is different from the 4.8 to the 5.3.

Or if anyone knows of someone that has put a cam in a 5.3, which one they used. I know for a fact that the ZO6 cam doesn't work at all in the truck. Had a friend put one in and ran the same numbers. (the conditions were the same too)

I really want the cam and want to stay all motor but don't want to waist money. I can get a cam cut here for around 200 so a cam card is all i need if someone is nice enough to lend me there's.
