I've lived 62 years now. I've been a spoiled brat for the whole time, never wanting to wait for anything that I want....I WANT WHAT I WANT WHEN I WANT IT AND I WANT IT NOW!!!!
That personality trait has cost me big time. Even at this age I'm still in debt and won't ever, NOT EVER, be able to retire. I spent every dime I made as soon as I got it.
Learn to plan and wait. Ask for help from expert. Make a plan. Follow the plan. You'll get lots more toys in the long run by planning and waiting. I'm seeing that as my friends from high school are quitting work and living good on what they accumulated over the 40 years of working. Make a plan and live it. That's the advice from Gramps.
