Clean piston it turn in good. But I wonder how much worth swap to forged 5.3 piston? Is that expensive?

Just thought it would be good enough to handle with forged. How much will hold up with stock one?

Let me put it like this....u ain't touching 400-450 hp with a 5.3, for the cost of forged crank, pistons and the rods go big or go home. Big cubic inches that is.

Oh I was thinking about to go 400-450 hp for n/a maybe nitrous. I want to keep MPG stay good for my daily drive. This is going to be in my 92 s10 Im working on it,. I just need some good feedback from here website. I know the stock crank is stronger im going run stock crank. I was just consider about piston and rods.

No, you misunderstand. This is going to be a dd and sometimes want to play on weekend go to drag use the nos. You get it?
