For now I want n/a make around 400-450 hp. Maybe some nitrous. Turbo dont know. Maybe in future. Where did you find used heads prc? 243 heads se compressor ratio on 5.3?

 

Clean piston it turn in good. But I wonder how much worth swap to forged 5.3 piston? Is that expensive?

Let me put it like this....u ain't touching 400-450 hp with a 5.3, for the cost of forged crank, pistons and the rods go big or go home. Big cubic inches that is.

 

Oh I was thinking about to go 400-450 hp for n/a maybe nitrous. I want to keep MPG stay good for my daily drive. This is going to be in my 92 s10 Im working on it,. I just need some good feedback from here website. I know the stock crank is stronger im going run stock crank. I was just consider about piston and rods.

 

Just run the stock then. Nos for dd? You like getting to work that much?
