Can a bolt on only (no cam) RCSB run a 13?

Took 01Thunder with full bolts ons, gear, 3500 stall, great tune, TR 224 and good air tohit 13.2 so I dont think you would be able to on teh stock cam, stock cam 4.8s are dogs IMO.

A friend's bone stock(he pulled the air filter) 4.8 5 speed rcsb with slicks on went a 9.8 in good air in the 1/8th. That is like a 15.4 in the 1/4.

I beat my freind 01 ( ithink) 7.3 power strike and he went 15.7. Hes got bully dog chip,AEM intake, Wicked wheel, 5" exhaust, and a valve bodie. My truck is stock except for a k&n drop in and magnaflow..

Sure it can! I had a 4.8 ecsb full weight of 4900 went 14.9 at 94mph with stock converter and stock cam with 18" chrome rims, now in race trim that could of been a low to mid 14 sec pass in an ecsb truck, a rcsb should be high 13 to low low 14 with stock cam and stall.

Yea thats my goal a reallllly low 14 high 13...like a 13.7-9..
