I don't see very many fellas runnin' 150 shot on stock internals. Most run 75, a few are at 100. Wet.

i had a 100 wet shot on my ole 03 rcsb 4.3...shorty headers, 3.90 gears, eaton posi, tune, cold air, gibson cat back. went 9.0@74 1.89 60'
not to bad for what it had

i think i dug this thread up a lil....haha

i had a '97 ext cab s10 with the 4.3L 5spd. it came stock with 3.08 and ran like a granny tied to a stump. with a 4.10 rear with posi (richmond's no-slip traction system) and a 100hp-shot, it would hang with my step-bro's mid-13 sec 'stang; i never did get it to the track. i ran it a few times with the hypertech 93 octane tune, but it would knock like crazy when i hit the button (that was before i learned what knock was).

there are a couple of companies making cams for the 4.3; i believe hotrod magazine built a 300hp 4.3, also.
