yeah, wasn't there even a van with a 4.8 & 4L80 from the factory for a year or two?
proof that there are some non-standard stock combos floating around

The Cargo vans were all ways available that way. They were also available with a 6.0 and with a Duramax.

In reference to the LQ4 6.0 , The Early GMC C3 trucks were 6.0 LQ4 with a 4l60E. So as I mentioned before you need to know what it came from. If I am not mistaken the early Denali SUV's were the same way.

Some People Don't know the Difference between an LQ4 and an LQ9 and may sell you the wrong combo.

The LQ9 was equipped with the 4L65E.

Then there are engine swaps that you have to watch out for along with the Idiots trying to sell them.

Hmmm Ok so then the lq4 I need to find is going to be for a sierra or silverado 2500hd. From 04-07 that was 2wd. And if possible contact and see what trans it came with. I just dont want to waste money. Thanks for the help
