Yep yep i know another 4.3 swap question. Newish to this site but im on lsxnation and ls1tech. Anyway truck is rcsb classic 07 silverado. I have been looking all around but cant get a solid answer. Wiring harness issue Im staying with DBC over all I think its better. Which harness do I need. 03 and later or 99-02 any ideas thanks.

 

Re-wire your Existing harness for a cable operated set up using a Van Wiring schematic from a similar year. Then have the computer flashed accordingly for the van operating system and Tune accordingly.

 

As much as I enjoy building harnesses...I'd have to disagree. Unless you have modified engine harness before and have access to schematics just save yourself the headache and buy a harness.

 

ok im just gong to buy a harness but are there any issues with the fact my truck is a 07 with a dbc and im going to stick with that. And if so what do I need. But from my understanding I dont need anything just a v8 DBC harness and a reflash ecm Right ? All the fuses and crap should still line up the same.

 

if you have an 07c, you need to get a donor harness from a 05, 06 or 07c. There were some changeschanges from 03-04. Also when you get your harness get the tac module, and gas pedal from the same truck as the harness.
