4.10 gears

I have a 2000 ext cab silverado with 5.3 and many mods i just bought 4.10 gears for it if my e.t. was 16.00 what should it go down to. and is it worth it. <img border="0" alt="[Truck]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_truck.gif" />

Yeah it's worth it. I see that you have many mods, well maybe you should go back to stock because a stock 2000 5.3 should do better than a 16.

For sure, a 16 flat is not a good time for a 5.3.

How hot was it when you ran those times??? That is slowm, but the weather could have hurt.

I don't think that 16.0 is what he ran.I think he is using that as a figure to compare the difference between gears.My guesstimation would be 2 or 3 10's assuming equal traction.
