4.00" bore on a 5.3L

I did a search and didn't find what I was looking for:

So I've been reading about making a 5.3L into a 5.7L, that's nice, but can I take it a step further and go out to a 4.00" bore (to run L92 heads)

not sure but i think 3.905 is pushing it i am going 3.903 with a 4.125 stroke

Max bore on a 4.8/5.3 block is 3.903" or 3.905"....

Just find a 6.0 Short block in good shap and start with that, they can be had for dirt cheap...
