383 swap - oil pressure issues

Yes, you should bolt the tube to the pump first and then the pump to the block.

please never assume that the guy at the gm parts dept is always right....

I work for GM and unfortunately it is so hard to find parts people sometimes taht most are brought in with little to no actual experience....

thats why bigredexpress and myself set up the gm part number thread, because like i said i work for gm and trust me the guys at the parts counter are not always as reliable as you would like them to be... i wish they were....

Im not saying all of them are bad... There are alot of them taht could walk circles around myself, and i consider myself very very good with parts.

but there are alot that are unreliable... so please try to make sure especially with vital engine parts get teh guy with teh most experience....
