Default 370 mpg

For those of y'all running a 370 what kind of mpg are you getting? I know you didn't build it for gas mileage, but I'm really curious. If anyone has a 370 in a colorado, s10, or silvy?

Mileage would resemble that of a similarly built 6.0

Huh now that u mention it if I can get 18mpgs out of my 370 that would be sweet. Gonna replace my 4.8 and the 370 has a mild cam 222/222 601/601 115 so I dont see why not lol. Mines mainly a street truck that sees 95% highway and goes to the track less than 5 times a year.

Really? I can see 12-15, but 18! Have you personally done this? Not trying to be sarcastic, just curious.

a 370 is not much bigger than the 364ci 6.0... your mileage would be much much more dependant on the rest of the set up. Heads, cam, and intake. I could make a 6.0 that gets pretty great mileage in your truck, or you could build one that gets 10...

^^^This. I can get about 14 at the best (I havent really tuned it for mileage) with the things in my sig. My 04 Escalade with a stock 6.0 AWD has gotten 18.9 on the highway(I tune that for mileage). I hope to be actually improving on that very soon.
