A round trip from his house to the track and back making 5 passes got 20mpg at 4500#. I mean, is there any way else you can slice it up to discredit it? Is it the wrong color maybe?

Wasn't discrediting anything, however when comparing fuel mileage weight means allot would you not agree? There are standard cabs that weight more then that. There is allot more to the fuel mileage figure then CI, thats my point. In true fashion I knew you would provide more info if I stated that as you are never one to shy away from getting defensive. Tuning and speed can make a 20mpg setup see 15 and vise versa. 20mpg out of his setup is impressive, wasn't arguing that....

Just Got my 6.0 ls2 with Gmpp Ls3 821 cnc heads ,cam and 90mm tb ,90mm Holley efi hi ram. 3600 stall with 4.10 gear. So far I just have a mild tune in it but so far its getting decent mileage so far. Cant wait to crack it open after the breaking!

So the 1.25 miles at wot, idle in the staging lanes, and 5 burnouts is included in the 20mpg? That's pretty damn impressive!

On e85 it got about 12. Think it could have got 14-15 if I worked with it.

On gas with the blow thru it got 14
