Im definately gonna check it with the length checker. Im just glad I found the problem thats making this thing sound like a old p.o.s. I knew the break in oil couldnt be thinner, it just looked alot different when i drained it. i ordered the length checker today but its a long weekend so hopefully next week ill get the correct p-rods on the way. Just gotta do my research on how to use the damn thing now

Better to be safe than sorry, and checkers are cheap insurance. I'm a bit leery of all these complaints with Comps products tho. Any warranty on them from the factory?

i dont know about them having a warranty, but the comp bearing kit was just fine, everything fit like it should.
