Default 350 HP for $1000?

Kinda have a goal set for myself now. So far, I've got the following:

LS1 Fans,
PaceSetter LT's w/ ORY & Magnaflow,
Nelson Tuned,
Custom CAI,
Free mods, EGR, TB bypass

I just bought a 2k Vette cam with specs:
2000 LS1 Y-car 12560968 0.5 0.5 207 198 115.5 112/119
And the stock truck cam being:
2000 LR4 12560967 0.466 0.457 190 191 114 112/116

The cam puts me right at $1000.

Think I can make it to 350? Discuss.

Seems to me you would be looking at 300-310 MAX power.

With the cam, fans, complete exhaust, tune, you still think he will be 50 short? If we are talking RWHP (all that really counts anyway) you are probably right. Motor HP he should be there, dont you think?

To the wheels? Yeah, you'll be short. I've got the mods in my sig and I am sitting at 321 to the wheels. Granted I need so more tuning to be done, think I can get another 10-15 hp outta the cam, but yeah.

GREGO has about the same mods minus the cam and after A LOT of tuning he got 270 to the ground. A cam isnt going to gain the 80HP needed to hit 350; more like (a generous) 30HP

Yeah most 4.8's I've dynoed are in the 240-250 RWHP mark to start with:

LS1 Fans good for 3-5 HP
PaceSetter LT's w/ ORY & Magnaflow good for 15-20 HP
Nelson Tuned good for 10-15 HP
Custom CAI good for 8-12 HP
Free mods, EGR, TB bypass good for 3-5 HP
Cam good for 15-25 HP

About 50-65 RWHP from what i have seen on dynos ... back to my 300-310 RWHP in BEST case senario favoring newer trucks 03+

I had 3.90's, lt's, dumped 40 series, elect fans, hpp3(crap), and cold air intake in '02 4.8 and only got 245rwhp in a 5spd.
