33 vs. 30 in tire on 1/4mile times

do you yall think a 3" tire change will make a big differnce in 1/4mile ETs??

if so hwat do you think it will do

definitely. the smaller diameter of the tire will allow the engine to rev faster, not to mention the weight loss of the tire. a 33" tire will weigh roughly 15-20lbs more per tire than the 30". I would say you would drop about .2-.3 down the 1/4.

YES. Taller tire is heavier and is the same as a taller gear, so there would be a pretty big difference right off the line. I have tires 1" taller than stock; others have told me they lost almost a full second with my setup vs stock.
