Well, I'm not sure about their claims! It's a quality intake as far as it's build but I really don't know if it's any better than the UPD or the OEM intake with the ram-air set up. When I started all this way back, I bought a K&N FIPK first but didn't like the fact that the filter was always real hot, that told me the engine was sucking in hot air. Then I made the ram-air set up with the stock airbox and it worked as good as the FIPK. Next came a UPD which added a little to the top end over the stock air box with ram-air. When I sold the UPD to get the Pro Cold I put the stock air box back on without the ram-air, I figured it would only be for a few days. I did lose the top end performance but the low end seemed a little better. The Pro Cold was going to take week to get so I decided to put the ram-air back on but this time I blocked the two stock air inlets on the air box, so the only air getting in was from the 4" ram-air. This seem to work really well but it was only on for a few days, performance seemed as good on the top end as the UPD without a loss of low end. What I also liked was that the intake noise was real quiet, maybe because the only air was being sucked was from down below the front bumper with the two stock inlets on the air box blocked off, I didn't think the 4" hole would provide enough air but it did seem to. Then I put the Pro Cold on, throttle response got better but my 0-60 times really haven't improved much but may 40-60 times have improved. So in short, throttle response is better, 40-40 passing power seems better but 0-60 and 0-90 times really aren't. I may go back to the stock air box with the ram-air and try to return the Pro Cold. If they don't take it back then I may keep it because it is a quality piece, put it up for sale on the forums or E-bay it. Still checking it out.
