will the 3 piece engine cover fit on a 4.8 because it said it will only fit on 5.3 and 6.0 but i thought that they were the same

I see no reason why not.

 

i think one or more of the accessories is different on the 4.8

 

so you think it will not fit

 

What year? If its a 99 or 00 you will need the bracket on the back of the intake and also the valve covers with the threaded bosses in them. For a 01+ though, yes they will fit no problem.

 

Not on my 01. I thought that all the truck accessories were the same, even on the later models? I might be wrong.

AFAIK, the 3 piece covers will work on any 2001+ truck intake with the 2 prong clips in the rear (ie the rounded stock 4.8/5.3 engine covers, not the square ones.)

 

its a 03 so it should fit then right

 

Yes they will fit, I just put a 3 piece on my 2006 4.8...

they all fit you will probably buy plastic bracket for the top of the back of the intake minor mods
