If I put a 3'' pipe to the Y-pipe flange and ran into a Borla 3" in/out and kept it 3" to the back would that be good, or is the 3" too big?

 

3" is plenty large, not too big or too small IMO

 

I think 3" is what most of the aftermarket exhausts companies are using for a single out exhaust on these trucks.

I'd go down to 2.5" if it's duals out back.

To be honest, I think mine's 2.25".

 

I have a 3 on mine after they y pipe.... sound healthy

 

I have true dual 3'' from the headers. No cats. Sounds wild. Everyone loves it at the track, at work, around town....

 

What do you guys think about the dynamaxx header system?

 

awesome headers, also the 3 inch is perfect for a single exhaust. if your going duals go with 2.25 or 2.5. Are you sure you want to spend the money on borla. also have you heard their sound. It's different then most people like.

 

I have borla on the T/A. I havent heard it on a truck. What do you think would sound good with the dynamaxx?

 

magnaflows or corsa, are you goign true duals. How loud do you want it.

 

I also have a 3" single Magnaflow without cats. I say go for it.
