Are you looking to do the swap for performance or better towing? I have the 3.73's in my GMC, and I really like 'em. I had 3.42's in my Silverado, and the gearing is just too high for pulling. The 3.73's are a little better, but there's not much difference on the highway w/ RPM's since the tires are so tall. I will say that the truck pulls much better from a stop compared to the 3.42's. 4.10's would be really nice, but you might regret them once you get an aftermarket converter. I'd personally go for the swap to 3.73's.

well i want something for low end. i feel sluggish off the line. i don't tow anything so pretty much it's for performance.

3.73's and a higher stall would be nice, and you won't fight the traction problems as bad as you would w/ 4.10's.

My truck does very well with the 3.73's and the stall... Really don't have any problems with traction
