would this be a good stall for my truck. or will it act diffrently? i currently have a 2500 hughes stall and was thinking i want to go up to a 3,000.
or should i just have mine restalled to a 3,000?
havnt decided on what brand yet, i guess its going to be what ever i can get ASAP.

I just had a Yank TT3000 put in mine tonight. It feels freakin' great, but tire spin is holding me back now where before it wasn't an issue. I'm sure as I get used to it I will do better. As far as ASAP, I got mine from TBRYNE and he had it to me in record time. It was less then 2 weeks from the phone call (which was on a friday night) to the time of delivery. Check him out if you are considering a Yank. I posted a pole on here before I bought mine and Yank seemed to be the favorite brand. Good luck!

Yank's are made to order pretty much. Sometimes they have some sitting on the shelf, but more than likely not. As I understand it, TByrne has them drop shipped so they are actually shipped from Yank with TByrnes name on the From tag and yours on the To tag. Unless he does them like he did my blower. He said they had to have it shipped there to his shop before he could ship it to me. I thought that was retarded, for one it would have cost less in hipping as 2 packages weighing in at a combined 125 can't be cheap and 2 it would have saved time as well.
Anyways .. back to your question, Yank is definantly the way to go! I love mine .. both of them actually. After driving the Yank around for some time, it has tightened up since it was new which helped the wheel spin off the line a good bit. It has nice road manners too.

01 .. I was in SanAntonio this past weekend and saw Cotmanns tranny shop. Are you around San Anton? I was thinking you were in the Houston area though.

Well I love my TT3000. Didnt realize just how much till I had to put this stocker in with my new tranny recently. I will be glad when Yank opens back up on the 4th and gets my converter back to me.
I dont know how loose you Hughs was but my Yank usually stalls to 2k in normal driving but will flash to 3k on motor and 3200 on n2o. So it is not a real loose converter IMO. Unless you can find someone with one on the shelf, you might be better off finacialy to send yours back to Hughes and have them work it over. Have you contacted them about it blowing up?
