Default 212/218 & LS6 Springs

here in the near future i am planning on doing a cam swap. right now, i've been lookin at comp cams 212/218 duration cams. both seem to be popular, and i was just wonderin about you guys opinion on which is probably a better choice. Also, if I was to go w/ the Comp 212/218 .558 .563, would LS6 springs work? LS6 springs can supposedly hold .600 lift, so i figured they'll work, but was just wonderin if anyones had any horror stories about em.
thanks

I would recommend the Comp 918 springs for that much lift. Most of the guys running the LS6 springs are keeping the lift numbers down to ~.535" Max.

The cam I am running makes great power and keeps the lift down to .532 max. I have had no issues with the LS6 springs.

Most people I heard of with the 212/218 .522/.529 were very happy with it. I did a lot of research and its the cam that I bought. I got it along with 02 LS6 springs. I know Tiburon has this cam and likes it!

From what people say it is similar. Maybe a slight loss if any. I thought one guy said his started to rip at about 1800-2000RPM's.

You shouldn't notice any diff in your low end.
