Because the lsa is 115, it idles pretty smoothly. There isn't much lope. You can definitely tell there is a cam in there though. The engine breathes a LOT more. The intake and exhaust will get louder.

I shift at 6000rpm on 6psi, 5400rpm on 12psi. It can pull well to 6800rpm though if you are willing to test your valve springs and connecting rod bolts

I short shift (at the mentioned rpms) because I make lots o power down low anyway

 

NOT TO BE AN A$$ BUT I LOVE RPM. I WOULD HAVE THAT CAM ,BUT WHEN I BOUGHT MINE TR DID NOT HAVE IT IN STOCK AND YOU KNOW WHEN YOUR MINE ON PUTTING A CAM IN TODAY YOU GO GET A CAM AND PUT IT IN.NOW I CAN'T USE IT BECAUSE I HAVE 1.85 ADJ. ROCKERS THAT WOULD PUT ME OVER OR RIGHT AT 600 LIFT.
