Because the lsa is 115, it idles pretty smoothly. There isn't much lope. You can definitely tell there is a cam in there though. The engine breathes a LOT more. The intake and exhaust will get louder.
I shift at 6000rpm on 6psi, 5400rpm on 12psi. It can pull well to 6800rpm though if you are willing to test your valve springs and connecting rod bolts
I short shift (at the mentioned rpms) because I make lots o power down low anyway
