ok i read another thread and it said the valve springs will be coil to .550 lift so that explains the springs. does anyone do their own cam installs? one of my good friends owns 2 race cars and was born with a rench in his hand. is it any different installing a genIII cam. is this something me and him could do in a weekend. or will i need to take it and have it done.
i know stupid questions but i wont know if i dont ask.

I thought it was a piece of cake. I used to be a mechanic though, and know my way around a car pretty good. In my opinion, it was easier thtn doing an old style small block chevy. Didn't have to pull the intake, didn't have to worry about setting up the distributor, etc. My only concern was keeping the lifters up, but the JPR tool took care of that for me no problems. Changing the springs took me the longest time of the whole deal.
