Default 2011 gmc Shorty headers

Ok guys i kno longtubes are better and all ive had them on my old truck in sig.. now my new truck is a 2011 Z71 6.2, only thing is it has 342's and thats bc thats the only truck i could find with the options i wanted and i want to put a 4" lift and some 33's and just want to help it as much as possible just in case.... now with that being said ive read the JBA's are the best out there so been thinking about those.. i kept my intake and stuff off my old truck only thing couldnt save was gears and all my exhaust..

What you guys think about the JBA's???

Why did you go from a 2009 to 2011.. seems like you got almost the exact same truck just a few years newer..

ak2007r6, few years newer & 4wd.

OP, if, & only if I was confined to a shorty, JBA's would be my 1st & only choice.

Thought it might have been 4x4, just didn't see it mentioned. Grats on the new truck!

well just dont wana spend a whole bunch on exhaust again and how loud it was!! i just want something to help turn the tires and wheels ill have... just dont wana get out of hand again like my last truck with mods!! may get it tuned with shortys and intake but i was jw on some feedback on the jba shortys... ill be putting pro comp 7031 wheels 20x9 and nitto terra graps a/t 305/50/20 with a 4" suspension lift and yea 4x4 is basically the difference plus newer and few extra options.. but thanks alot im gona be happy with it for sure...

I would just skip shorties all together and get a set of gears and a converter. Much better gains.

I would just keep the manifolds and spend money elsewhere.

gears and especially conveter are way to far in mods than i wana do on this truck!! im not looking for hp or speed really, just tq mostly.. i mean im sure it ill be plenty of power but i was looking for something to help thats small and not alot of custom work to do and basically easy install parts... been thru custom exhaust and longtubes and gears on my last truck and not really wanting to do it to this one again.. i guess ill just put my intake back on and have it tuned and call it good...
