Default 2006 MAX vs 2009 Hemi

Ok so a 13 second truck might be a little out of the picture with the lift and what not. My biggest thing is I have a loud mouth uncle that runs his gums about his 1/2 ton Hemi. I think the way it sits now with my lift and big tires I can still smoke his weak *** hemi but i want to make sure I do. I would like more power and stay in the 10 MPG range. I have a hypertech tune and want to get a black bear but think i should wait until I do my other mods.

We need more info on your truck and what your trying to accomplish? If you have a lifted 2006 max with a hypertech, I think the 09 hemi will beat ya.

Thats what i have. I want to at least make it beat him. I have driven his truck and it doesn't seam to have nearly the power my Chevy does. What can I do to my truck to make it faster and more power with out having to get a loan for gas everytime I need to pull the camper.

I know my truck is faster the the 05 1/2 ton hemi. I have gone heads up with one and it wasn't even close, but I am sure the Dodges have made improvements.

Just how "big" is your lift and tires?

If it's like a 3" body lift and 33"s then it will be close.

It is a 6 inch fabtech suspension lift with 33-12.5 Nitto mud grapplers............I have a set of JBA shorty headers but i haven't decided if I want to put them on or wait until i can get a set of long tubes. What will the HP and T difference be between the shortys and long tubes.

Don't bother with the shorties if you're thinking about longtubes. Just sell the shorties and go straight to longtubes.
