So finally the new programmers will have the ability to remove torque management huh? Will the new programmers work on my '04? I would sell my '04 programmer to a co-worker and just buy the new one if i'll have the ability to remove 100% of the torque management. is it true on the 04 tuners that If I restore my factory tuning to my truck, that it can be reused on another 04 truck? I thought you only had to send them in to get unlocked if your programmer was an 03 or older model.

The new programmer will cover the 2004 and '05 trucks. The Predator is usually married to your vin but I've heard some of them can be used on another vehicle if you return it back to stock. I'll check into this but I think it only applies to the Duramax.

Speaking of Duramax...

It doesn't take much $ to see BIG horsepower and torque gains from your Duramax truck!

2001-'04 (LB7) Predator contains five tunes to choose from:

Stock Tune: with adjustable speed limiters. Speed limiter to approximately 120 MPH varies based on vehicle set-up weight, tire size, 2wd vs. 4wd, etc.
40 RWHP and 100-ft/lb TQ - Tow Tune, made specifically for towing. DiabloSport recommended weight limitations based on manufacturer suggested limits for the vehicle.

65 RWHP and 150-ft/lb TQ - Economy Performance Tune, designed for Economy and Performance, fuel economy depends solely on driving style, and will vary from vehicle to vehicle. DiabloSport recommended weight limitations of 8,000 Lbs.

85 RWHP and 195-ft/lb TQ - Performance Tune, designed specifically for performance street driving. DiabloSport recommends this tune not be used for towing.

120 RWHP and 240-ft/lb TQ - XPerformance Tune, designed specifically for opening a can of whoop-*** (pardon the expression). DiabloSport recommends this tune not be used for towing.

2004.5-'05 (LLY) Predator contains five tunes to choose from:

Stock Tune: with adjustable speed limiters. Speed limiter to approximately 120 MPH varies based on vehicle set-up weight, tire size, 2wd vs. 4wd, etc.
40 RWHP and 100-ft/lb TQ - Tow Tune, made specifically for towing. DiabloSport recommended weight limitations based on manufacturer suggested limits for the vehicle.

65 RWHP and 140-ft/lb TQ - Economy Performance Tune, designed for Economy and Performance, fuel economy depends solely on driving style, and will vary from vehicle to vehicle. DiabloSport recommended weight limitations of 8,000 Lbs.

85 RWHP and 170-ft/lb TQ - Performance Tune, designed specifically for performance street driving. DiabloSport recommends this tune not be used for towing.

100 RWHP and 250-ft/lb TQ - XPerformance Tune, designed specifically for opening a can of whoop-*** (pardon the expression). DiabloSport recommends this tune not be used for towing.

We currently have these programmers on sale for $359.99 with free overnight shipping!

The new truck programmers should be here in a few days. I don't expect to see anything for the '05 cars for a few months.

As far as I know this will only cover the 2004 and '05 trucks (one part number for them). I'll see if they plan on offering the same options for the earlier models.
