I'm gonna have to agree there. Stop throwing the money away in rent, get into a house. It'll set the timeline back a little bit, but the money you save by not renting (assuming you don't lose a bundle in the house) you can get back towards more mods when you eventually sell your first house.

getting off the topic here.

i currently live at home with my parents, i'm finishing up college hopefully fall of 05. im welcome to stay at home as long as i need to. my parents are sorta leaveing the decision up to me. my dad wants to see "way 1" happen because he knows how bad i want this truck to haul ***. and if i move out, there will be no need for my parents to have a 3500 sq ft house anymore. i just sorta want to get one my own and have my own garage, and shed to work on my stuff. plus i have a bunch of sweet cheap ideas on how i want my house to be.

Hey, if you're at home with no rent at your house and your dad's encouraging you....that's tough! All depends on how bad you want that house. Good luck.
