The buick is the only short wheelbase for 2004. I think the envoy[denili] and the trailblazer with offer this in 2005. I need tips on a tune. I talked to hp tuners and they will surpport the 2004 5.3 buick. So i just need some help on what to with the custom tune. I did a custom air box with a 9" cone and new 4" duct, now every month the code pops up with banks 1&2 lean code because of the added air flow! The trans go shift kit is solid but the pcm picks up the added line preasure and the truck falls on it's face @ w.o.t.! This thing also has the drive by wire t.b. so i heard at w.o.t. the pcm deleivers only 60% until the rpm's build up, you can totally tell the pcm is holding back a lot go! The trans i had rebuilt by my buddie and everything is packed real tight! He say's pull 100% t.m. What is your thoughts? Thank-You for advise!

I have a 2003 Envoy XL SLT 2WD with the V-8, and currently use a Diablo Predator, which does allow for timing and fuel curve adjustments. As for the Intake, I went with a True Flow intake, replacement filter and inlet tube. No trouble codes. Hope this helps.

My wife likes Buicks, and I tried to talk her into one of these. She wouldn't go for it though. She picked the Rendezvous ! Oh well. I drove one and I liked it, they had pretty good power for a stock SUV.

hey i'm from the chicago area[40 miles north]! It's hards to get input to mod a buick! I do also have 18x8.5 torque thrust with 275/55r18's, with dual ehx. 3.5 tips> Most people don't even know what it is. If i can ever get time i'll try to put some pictures up. I'm a die hard gear head, this my wife's car. Her last car was a very modded 2000 gtp grand prix. When i was done it was good for low 12's! So i'm very up on what work's and what is b.s.! And the buick did run a 14.9 on the g-tech!
