and you should be all set. not sure what the current prices are, but should be around $1000 give or take for all 3
Just wondering why you regret buying the Hypertech. Altho I will be upgrading to HPtuners early in 2005, I have no regrets with my Hypertech. Its been good to me, and has shown definate decrease in my quartermile times. I just need some real tuning options, and the ability to increase the idle speed etc, plus I like the data logging features of HPtuners. If I were planning on staying in the 14's n/a or even low 13's with the nitrous then I'd keep the Hypertech.

BADMOFO, I hated my Hypertech. It made my truck run like ****. It pinged it wouldnt shift right and it would start really hard everytime i would start it. Maybe i just got a bad one. Who knows. Im not knocking Hypertech at all, my buddy has one on his 00 Silverado and he has had no problems with his. But he also has a Superchips and he likes the Superchips better than the Hypertech. He uses the Hypertech when he has his N2O installed. He did say that the Superchips gave him more performance than the Hypertech. He said that the Hypertech is good to run when running N2O. Like i said, maybe i got a bad Hypertech.

I don't understand how it COULD possibly make the truck hard to start. Mine knocked almost a half of a second off of my ET. I also like being able to change my speedo for the different height tires I run in the winter. I run 93 octane gas with the 93 octane tune and can't hear any signifigant pinging. I just knocked the tuning back to 87 octane so that I could run the cheaper gas for awhile, and it cost me an average of 2 tenths on the G-tech, averaging out 10 runs before and after. Everyone else around here would make the Hypertech their last choice....so don't listen to me. I only know what mine has done for my truck. Guess I've been lucky.

The Superchips does the same thing as the Hypertech except with the Hypertech you can retard the timming to run N2O. Both are good products, but neither one can beat a custom tune.

the HPP3 does an ok job, but i know other tuning could do better. i like it for the shift points and rev limiter. i don't know, i guess i was expecting more HP out of the tuning aspect. i definitely notice ASOP difference than stock. i should try using the G-tech to see what my numbers are with HPP3 and w/o.

BADMOFO, you notice .2 sec difference in 87 & 93? that is cool. thanks.
