Is the 2003 6.0L motors using drive by wire throttles also like the 5.3L motors? Is that throttle body the same setup used on the 5.3L motor. I want a larger throttle body to open up the intake, since there is a little room for improvement. I was thinking that the throttle bodies on the 6.0L motors must be bigger to accomadate the extra liter of size, and was wondering if anyone knew if they would work on my motor!? Could someone maybe send me a photo of it, either that, or I could go to a dealership and look at one of the trucks.
Thanks for any info.

Should work, and i do believe the 6.0s have the "fly by wire" so to speak. But, you'd be just as better off, going with an aftermarket throttle body than a stock 6.0 one.
Cause you could possibly get one cheaper, as well as get it larger than the stock 5.3 or 6.0 TB.

yeah, no one makes a larger throttle body that works with the drive by wire. I know that BBK has a 80 mm one for the other trucks, but tha is too big, and it is near impossible to port out the plastic intake, so even if they made one, I might not want it.
That is great, I gotta go look at one of these!

that is what I was asking, thank you
I will waste my money on a lot of little things that will barely help, since I am going to spend a **** load overall to get the performance I want! Still got Supercharger, transmission, rear end, drive shaft, traction bars, custom tuning.
Long way to go still!
