Default 2002 LQ4 shortblock, good deal?

Guy wants $650 for the 2002 shortblock with 70,000 miles on it. Does this seem like a good deal? Or should I hold out for an lq9? Will L92 heads work on this also?

I would go with either one. If you want more comp run a thinner head gasket, or have the heads milled. Yes 92's will work. I would buy it for that. 70k on these motors isn't
