Did you unhook the battery?

When doing the security relearn you have to keep the doors shut the entire time, did you do this?

I don't know anything else, I'm a noobie when it comes to this stuff. Sorry.

check the passlock wiring. if you just disconnected the remote start the wiring could be broken.

In that case I don't think the truck would even start.

you tried to command the fuel pump on with HPtuners?
Im just thinkin out loud...

Could be the Ignition? I know i helped my buddys dad replace the Ignition switch in his 01 cause it was doin the same thing.

My truck did this when i did the 80E swap but i had the wrong VIN in the PCM..

Seems to be the passlock since I re-enabled it last weekend. It started right up this morning, but when I went to come home from work, same sh*t. I screwed with it for 15 minutes and got so pissed that I was pounding on the steering column as hard as I could and it started up. I pulled off the knee panel and clipped the yellow passlock wire while the truck was running.

I found this trick on an Impala forum with the same issues. Now it will run fine until I disconnect the battery, just the security light will stay on.

For a permanent fix and to turn off the security light, I need to take a voltmeter to the passlock wires and measure the resistance (if I can get the system to operate properly!) Then I will buy the appropriate resistor and wire it in and be done with it forever. I will keep you guys posted.
