The hot cams are not very good from what i ahve heard.
The 212/218 you have listed is not the high rise one i mentioned. The high rise is a custom grind and its only in there book.Comp cam 212/218 high rise. Its power band is from 1700-6700.
Amember put one in his truck and on the dyno even with our trucks crappy intake he made peak at 6000rpms and held a flat curve line to 6400rpms.That flat curve is a good thing when considering how bad the intake flows on these trucks past 6000.
I woudn't go all out for new heads on your truck I'd just get the package from Thunder that includes the cam, springs, retainers and push rods.Just MO.

if you are doing the work and dont mind spending the extra$$ for something you dont really need then go for the titanium retainers. i personaly woudl go with the 112. tr220 is a good place to start out with with their complete packages and stuff. those other cams you listed have way too little lift to be worth a flip. best of luck

I woudn't order your cam straight from the site.Call them up talk to em and such.Alot of times they have custom grinds in the same duration you want.Like the 212/218 they have the one lsited and the high rise.So give em a call.
If you have the money i'd get the retainers. No you don't have to have them but they are lighter than the stockers and will give you a little more power.Usally between 6-12hp to the wheels.I say if your in there alreasy why not...it can only help.
