Default 2 Must Read Books!!!!!!!!!

To All, I went with my wife to the book store the past two weekends, While she was lookin for whatever it is that wifes read. I found two books you should get. 1) Tune and Modify Engine Management systems... 2) How to build High Performance LS1/LS6 V8s. Written by a guy that works for chevy, Knows every body and has some real good tips. Like what heads and cam to put on your LQ4 to end up with the same 405+ HP as the corvette. Has dyno sheets for all kinds af Chit From K&N to Radix To Nitros. some of you may have them, but for those who don't. before you spend money on any upgades spend the $40 for these two books. You'll learn allot and be heading in the right direction for what you want.... OK, Cool, Thought you should know.....

Neither go into specifics about cams or turbo Basics. The tuning book tells about AFR/ Boost pressure/timing. But I'm sure the book store has what you want.

If the second book is written by Will Handzel be careful there is a lot of misinformation in it. Simple stuff like head bolt torquing.

Thanks for making this thread, I picked up the LS1/LS6 book at Auto Zone today. I'm glad I bought it, but it didn't tell me a whole lot that I didn't already know from researching on this site. I thought the book had a GREAT section explaining different types of intake manifolds and such. I haven't read the tuning stuff at the end yet, and I'm sure I can learn a ton in that area.

There's another one too.....the Chris Enderles book. This might be the same book that your refering to also. If not, this one is a good one to. I've had these two books for about year now...maybe longer.
