I would put a 212/218 in a 6.0. It will still idle good. Although the LS6 cam would be better than a stock cam.
Other cams will make more power than a LS6 but, for no tuning and for the money. I think it is perfect.
Auburn has lasted me for over 2 years before it went out, other Eatons I have used and seen have not lasted 1 year. I have also seen Eatons work when they want to and sometimes not at all. Similar to the G80. My opinion.
NX said that their DP 80000EFI kit is similar to the NXL kit and will work with the stock fuel lines. It did not. Even with the $200 accumulator they sold me.
I have spent more on my education than on my truck payments and insurance.

Your the first person I have heard that says the Auburn is better than the Eaton. Maybe you just have bad luck with Eatons

I got a couple of questions.
So the two bottom dyno runs were you spraying a 125 shot ?
What kind of nitrous kit were you using? One rated at the wheels or at the crank ?

I may have had bad luck with Eatons but, so have 2 other people I know. These are just my experinces. Also if the Auburn unit is under 4 years old, Auburn will rebuild it for $115. If it requires a new case, that is included.
I was spraying a super fat 125 shot on the 5.7. The 31 fuel jet was bigger than a 31, ended up being like a 35. That is why it made no power. It was with a single nozzle NX kit.
The 6.7 was a 200 shot, it was rich too. Around 10.5:1. It was on pump gas so I wanted it fat. This was with a 80000EFI direct port kit.

Is this the Auburn High Performance or the Pro Series you're speaking of? Is there a large difference between them?

Nah, I'll leave the 3.73's in, they're great since the cam, but I'm not sure that I want to wait for the G80 to break. Pushing three tons is pretty hard on a drivetrain. I may want to swap out the stock posi for something a little stronger....if the posi breaks, I've heard my new 4L65E might go too. I'd rather not that happen, if you know what I mean.

you already have a history of "break first", fix later, why change now?

I have the Auburn High Performance right now, light years away from the G80. Tuesday am installing a Pro Series and 3.73s. I am nothing but happy with the High Performance but, the Pro Series is more agressive. I have done countless burnouts at the track on the High Performance and it has worked flawlessly, until recently.
Maybe I have seen some poorly built Eatons but, for me Auburn is the way to go.
