My stock fuel pump ran out of crap when I installed the 150 pills but, this was on a h/c 5.3. I beleive that a fuel pump should be installed on any vehicle running a 150, just my opinion.
The problem with the fogger. The line will barely support the fogger. However, when the fuel solenoid is opened it has to fill the fuel block, the lines, and then it starts to spray from the nozzles. This will empty the fuel feed line and fuel rails, resulting in a 1 full second lean spike. My fuel pressure will drop from 58 to 15psi. The NX accumulator helps this but, it is still there. A lean spike to 20:1 is not good. I have an intank 255 and a inline 255.
I have never installed a LS6 cam in my truck. It is in my best freinds old truck and his new truck. I have installed 4 in other people's trucks and everyone of them have loved them. You can do a camshaft swap and gain 35rwhp for under $500. Then just move the shift points. It will still pass inspection, cause zero codes, and drive exactly the same. You can't get better than that.

Nope,. It will work in one although not great.

I personally didn't like the LS6 cam in my truck. I had MUCH better results with the 226cam. The only nod I give it is it is cheap, doesn't require tuning to idle and gives you extra power.

I just think if you are going to spend the money on a cam and swap why not do it right the first time. Well, that is if you have a ood tuner in the area and can tune for smog. If you live in the boonies then the Z06 ain't so bad. LOL

I ran 12.33 @ 110 w/ an 01 ls6 cam in a 5.3. It had a good tune on it among other things and I don't live in the boonies.

Good post Stupidfast, lots of good info.
