yeah I really love the way it sounds! Sounds better than my 71 Olds Cutlass! First person I've heard on here that had that exhaust.

People always say that I should get tips put on the right side, but I think it wouls ruin the look.

Personally I would go with a Corsa exhuast and UPD intake to start. Corsa makes a beautifully welded full stainless steel 3" exhaust with SUPER clean 4" polished dual tips. I got the side exit exhaust. The sound is NEVER annoying and when reved sounds CRAZY mean. The quality of this system is well worth the money. It also has smooth bends with a straight through muffler supposedly made to NOT resonate. When cruising its not to loud something I like for a daily driver.

I had a gibson on my old ford ranger POS and the exhuast was great for a budget build up. I spent a grip of cash on my 03 sierra and I want it to have the best so I went with a Corsa.

For intakes go with a UPD. Many of the members of this forum will say the same thing. There have been dyno results showing hp gains on the UPD over a K&N, at least 5hp more for at least 8+hp to the wheels.

Yeah it does sound pretty damn good, could be a little louder though. But hey for just a catback, stock y-pipe with cats, and stock manifolds it's still pretty loud. Much louder then my mustang was with stock manifolds, stock h-pipe, and magnaflow catback. But nothing can beat the sound of a 4.6L GT with a O/R X-pipe and Magnaflows

I have a 2000 4.8 and if you look at the bottom, you can see what i did and how it worked out on my truck......

One thing that i don't have that i will have soon is the UPD intake.... Seems like it is the best on the market.

Take a look at the mufflers on my link and let me know if you are intersted. I have a cut out on my truck but since i installed the muffler, i don't use it anymore and still have a sweet sound in my truck. I even have a little sound bit if you wana hear it...

Just my two cents...
