1st 1/4 mile adventure!
So I have an 03 z71 rcsb with a 5.3. It has a K&N panel filter and a B&B exhaust. I ran four times and they were all within 15.7-15.8. My 60 ft times were 2.2-2.5. I tried launching in auto4x4 once and got a 2.2 60 ft. Is this about the norm for my truck? Oh Yeah, the 20 inch wheels and tires may have made a difference also.

Dude what were the miles per hour in the quarter? 85? Dump the spare and only run a quarter tank of gas. The twentys may hurt you with unsprung weight. Try launching in 4 hi and then switch back to 2 after it shift to second. Whats your gear ratio 3.73? Tall wheels and tires kill your gear ratio , but look cool. six of one half dozen of the other. <img border="0" alt="[USA]" title="" src="graemlins/patriot.gif" />

High 15's sounds about right. You have a pretty much stock truck too. You could hack the bottom of your air lid off for more flow too (and sound!).
With some stall, you will probably knock off about .3-.5 sec. Also, with a looser converter your shifts will get sloppy. I'd go for a TransGo shift kit with the Superior prod billet servos.

Re: 1st 1/4 mile adventure!
your numbers seem a little high. i bet it is definitely due to the 20's and 3.73. maybe 4.10 might help. there are regular cabs that are stock that run the 1/4 faster than me. my truck runs around 15.6's and it is an EC Z71. i don't have much done to my truck but the shift points on my HPP3 have helped get me from 16's to 15's. plus the cold air up north here. my truck has terrible 60' times, but i make up for it since my truck pulls pretty well high end.

Hitman, I am dying to do a shift kit and servos and a converter but I haven't found anyone around here I trust with my truck. Also my stock 16's I could lift with one hand but my 20's I was struggling with 2 hands. They are at least 30 or 40 more pounds each.
