I run the AC Delco "Professional Platinum" Plugs in mine. I changed them out when I did my headers at around 96000 miles. They're supposed give you 100,000 miles of use before needing replacement. They've been doing good so far.

I wouldn't recommend leaving them in that long chevyman, the platinum tips like to fall off and get stuck to the cylinder heads

Your best bet is the stock ACDelco's or comparable NGK. If you're looking for an extended interval between spark plug changes, go for either platinum or iridium. Supposedly, iridium plugs are supposed to be better at not leaving as much carbon behind, but I don't know if that's fact or just marketing.

I replaced the my original AcDelco Plugs with the platinum ones. I only have around 3000 miles on them so far. I've read that the platinum ones don't last as long but we'll see.
