I am looking to get a cooler thermostat. I was wondering if a new tune would be needed once this thermostat is installed. I have a Nelson tune so i'm sure he could hook me up, but didn't know if it was needed. Thanks in advance guys!

 

it is recommended. Once the engine gets to 160* the engine will start running rich trying to get it to the stock temp setting.

 

as above, get it tuned, i was asked if i had one when i talked to charlie

 

is it really nessasary?

 

If you run the 160 stat you can run a more agressive tune
