16" Borla XR1 muffler question

I just bought a 16" 3" in & out Borla XR1 muffler for my 57 pickup. My question is will it be a good upgrade for my 2011 5.3 Silverado? My stock muffler is huge compared to the Borla and I'm not sure if I should get a 18" or bigger.

xr-1 are the best sounding muffler for 2000+ trucks ,,,thats just me

I have the 16" oval XR-1 on my 2000 5.3 and I love it. Not as loud as I expected but sounds really tough!
