Default 130A HD/HO alt belt length?

Okay I got this in the mail today and the case is larger as I thought. Um, anyone have a length of the stock 4.8/5.3 belt vs the 6.0 one?

Thanks!

se the one you have. There is plenty of adjustment in the tensioner.

Okay sweet! Now no shelling out $30 for another belt. Thanks!

I am pretty excited about tonight, I am gonna install that alternator AND pick up my 4" downpipe. Should be interesting...

Hey hitman, what happened? Did it work, using the stock belt?

I knew I wasn't being clear...hahaha.

NO, stock 105A belt will not work, you gotta get the longer one.

Ok, well I was questioning whether or not it would because I supposedly just bought at 130A altenator and it looked exactly the same but had a green paint mark over the numbers, I cleaned it off and it said 105A. Not happy at this moment. The stock belt went on very easily. Just wanting some more info before I start

If it looks identical to what you took off, you have another 105A. The 130A has a larger case...I wish I had a dig camera I'd hold them side by side so you can see the difference.

I dunno where you got it so check the return policy or see if you can get a refund from the individual.

Well I wanted to know for sure, and well I want to hear an excuse from the person who sold it to me before I flame. If he didn't know, then its cool as long as I do get my money back.

Yeah get all the info sorted out. Just be 100% sure you have a 105A.

Well not to keep beating on the same bush but it says 105A on it and its the same size as my old one. Put it this way, a guy told you to use the stock belt, the tensioner will allow it sold it to me. If you say no it won't than by god it can't be a 130A.
